FREWSBURG — The Chautauqua County Parks Commission will meet at 4 p.m. today at Erlandson Overlook Park, 465 Oak Hill Road, Frewsburg. The public is welcome to attend.

DogGone Good Sale To Take Place Friday And Saturday

WESTFIELD — The 10th annual DogGone Good Yard Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, 7540 N. Gale St., Westfield. There will be basket giveaways and deals on antiques, furniture, jewelry, purses, sporting goods, toys, holiday decor, home decor, crafts, linens, lawn and garden items and more. Proceeds help support the shelter.

Ceremony For The William

Neubeck Corner To Be Hosted

On Saturday

On Saturday at 1 p.m., the village of South Dayton will host a dedication ceremony for the William “Bill” Neubeck Corner at the South Dayton Depot. Neubeck served many years as the station agent and will be honored with a plaque Saturday. Refreshments will be served after the dedication. The dedication is open to the public.

Falconer Athletic Meeting Is Aug. 9

FALCONER — The Falconer mandatory athletic meeting for fall sports will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at the athletic complex field. All fall athletes and a parent are asked to attend.

Church To Host Ice Cream Social

An ice cream social by the Kiantone Congregational Church, 646 Kiantone Road, Jamestown, will be held from 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, on the lawn by the church. Hot dogs, ice cream sundaes and homemade cake will be served. There will also be a Grandma’s Attic and bake sale. A quilt made by the ladies aid from the collection of the late Hazel Davis Anderson collection will be raffled to benefit mission work.
