Rural Cemeteries Federation To Meet June 8

FALCONER — The Chautauqua County Federation of Rural Cemeteries will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, June 8, at the Falcon’s Nest banquet hall, Falconer. Registration will start at 9 a.m. with the business meeting at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at a cost of $16. Reservations are required for lunch by calling 716-664-9475 by June 1. Anyone interested in maintaining and preserving rural cemeteries is invited to attend. Speakers include Rick Ron, Andrea Gerlinger, Charlotte Center Cemetery and representatives from the NY State Office of Cemeteries.

JCC Board To Hold Planning Session Tuesday

The Jamestown Community College Board of Trustees will hold a meeting and planning session on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at The Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, 10 Dunham Ave., Celoron. As part of the planning session, a board meeting will be held at 4:15 p.m. to transact business. Falconer To Host Memorial Day Parade

FALCONER — The village of Falconer on Monday will hold its Memorial Day Parade. The parade starts at 10:15 a.m. on West Main Street at Dow Street and continues east on Main Street to the four corners. It will then turn north on North Work Street to Pine Hill Cemetery where the Henry Mosher Post 638 will conduct service for veterans. Line up is at 9:45 a.m. on Dow Street at West Main Street. Cherry Creek UMC To Host Rummage Sale

CHERRY CREEK — Cherry Creek United Methodist Church, 6813 Main St., will host a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 3, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at which time baked goods and refreshments will be available. Donations will be accepted, though no electronics, TVs, books or stuffed animals will be taken. Call 716-338-8429 for drop-offs.

Zoning Board Of Appeals To Meet Wednesday

The Jamestown Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday via Zoom to consider a petition for an area variance for TAR Holdings LLC, owned by Blake Tarana, for a new Washington Street Tim Horton’s location. Those with in interest will be given an opportunity to be heard for or against the project by submitting comments in writing by sending comments via U.S. mail to the City Clerk’s Office, 200 E.
