RIPLEY — A special meeting of the Ripley Central School Board will be held at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in room 116B to review and accept unofficial voting results of the 2022-23 budget vote and election of board members.

MAYVILLE — The Chautauqua County Ethics Board will meet Wednesday, May 18, at 3 p.m. in Rooms 331 and 333 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Historian To Speak On Park

Devon Taylor, Chautauqua town historian, will speak on the history of Mayville’s Lakeside Park at the next meeting of the town of Chautauqua Historical Society at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 19, in the Sid Compton room of the town building, 2 Academy St., Mayville. The public is invited to attend the free event and is encouraged to bring any photos, post cards or personal memories of the park to share. Social distancing will be practiced as much as possible, and masks will be welcome.

Spring Yard Sale Returns May 21

ASHVILLE — The Harmony Historical Society will hold its spring yard sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at 1943 Open Meadows Road, Ashville. There will also be a Golden Needle Quilters sale and quilt drawing. Donations for the yard sale are accepted on Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon or by appointment. County IDA Meets May 24

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at the BWB Building, second floor board room, 201 W. Third St. in Jamestown; at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, large conference room, in Dunkirk; and electronically on YouTube and Zoom. The Governance Committee of the county IDA will meet at 9:30 a.m. The county Capital Resource Corporation will meet immediately following the county IDA board meeting.
