AOC To Hike

WARREN, Pa. — Members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike about 5 movies off of Economite Road near Tidioute on Sunday. The group will meet by 1:30 p.m. at Musante Streey, Warren. Patterson Library In Westfield Is Hosting Adult Gaming Nights Tuesdays March 8, 15, And 22

WESTFIELD — The Patterson Library in Westfield will host adult gaming nights at 4 p.m. Tuesdays, March 8, 15 and 22. Adult patrons can use the library’s collection of board and card games or join a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. The library will also host music students from the State University at Fredonia for “Ekstasis 2.0,” a curated salon series of solo and chamber pieces, at 6:30 p.m. March 10 in the library’s Reading Room. Artist and color therapist Jill Mattson opens her showing of “Rebirth in Color” in the Octagon Gallery on March 18. Book club meetings in March include the Best Sellers Book Club at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, featuring “Crossroads” by Jonathan Franzen, and the Mystery Book Group on March 16 featuring “The Man Who Died Twice” by Richard Osman.

Lakeshore Humane Society Holds Adoption Hours Noon To 3 On Sat. March 5

DUNKIRK — The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Regardless of vaccination status, masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times on LHS grounds. Those who are ill, have tested positive for COVID, or have been near someone who has tested positive are asked to delay a visit. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week. The Cat’s Meow Boutique will be open for purchases by the public. For details, call 716 672-1991.

Semi-Annual Pancake And Waffle Breakfast

FALCONER — The Falconer Rotary Club will hold its semi-annual pancake and waffle breakfast from 7:30-10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, at the Falcon’s Nest, 2001 E. Main St., Falconer. The tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children 5 years old and under and are available at the door or from any Falconer Rotary Club member. The club is also holding a returnable can and bottle drive to help fund community projects and will be accepting them during the event.
