Falconer Board To Hold Hearing
FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, via Zoom. In conjunction with the meeting, the village board will also hold a public hearing for the purpose of considering the advisability of adopting Local Law No. 1 for the year 2021, amending the village of Falconer Zoning Law. Further details regarding the proposed zoning changes and Zoom meeting information will be published in the legal notice section of the newspaper on Friday or may be obtained by calling the village of Falconer clerk during normal business hours at 665-4400.
AOC To Hike, Ski Conewango Trail
The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ski or hike the trail along the Conewango in Russell, Pa., on Sunday. The group will meet at 2 p.m. at the end of Cider Mill Hill in Russell. Those joining are asked to park across from the township building. The ski will be approximately 4 miles total and is an up and back flat ski/hike.
Carroll Board Vacancy Available
FREWSBURG — There is currently a vacancy on the Carroll Town Board. A letter of intent and a resume from qualified individuals will be accepted either in person or by mail/email by the town supervisor no later than 3:30 p.m. Monday. BPU Discolored Water Alert
Jamestown Board of Public Utilities water customers on the north side of Jamestown and in the village of Falconer may see discolored water for 12 to 24 hours due to problems with equipment at the Cassadaga Pump Station on Wednesday morning. Water customers are advised not to do laundry until water looks clear.
Soil, Water District Board To Meet Feb. 17
BEMUS POINT — Regular meetings of the Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District board of directors are held the third Wednesday of each month at Bemus Point United Methodist Church located at 4954 Bemus-Ellery Road No. 9739, Bemus Point. Bemus Point School BOE Will Meet Monday
BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point School Board will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the STEAM room at Maple Grove High School on Dutch Hollow Road. The public is welcome to attend, and those joining are asked to the use the gym entrance. An executive session will take place at 5:30 p.m. before the meeting. The district complies with gathering limits and social distancing requirements.
