Norden Women’s Club To Host Lunch Event

The Norden Women’s Club will hold a member-guest lunch at noon on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Marvin House in Jamestown. Yvonne McNallie will present the program speaking about the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. Reservations are due by Saturday, Oct. 10, and because of social distancing are limited to 35 people. Call Mardell Hanson at 386-6162 or Rose Prieur at 386-1317 to make a reservation.

Public Hearing Postponed

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Zoning Board of Appeals has postponed the public hearing scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday on the Order to Remedy Violation for 19 Owana Way. The public hearing will be rescheduled at a later date.

Trick-Or-Treating

Time Set For Town Of Carroll

FREWSBURG — Trick-or-treating will officially take place in the town of Carroll on Oct. 31 from 5-8 p.m. Face masks and social distancing will be required.

Food Distribution Being Held Sat.

The East Randolph United Methodist Church is hosting a food distribution which will be held in the parking lot of Randolph Register Graphics. It is an Open Arms giving event that grew from a partnership with the New York School of Urban Ministry, Randolph Register Graphics and many area volunteers. A semi truck of boxes of food from the Federal Farm to Families program will bring perishable and non-perishable items beginning this Saturday at 11 a.m. and will continue for the next three Saturdays. N. Harmony Town Board Meeting Moved

Due to the Columbus Day holiday, the monthly North Harmony Town Board meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Ashville Fire District, 5338 Stow Road, Ashville.

Fall Cleanup Date Announced

The Sunset Hill Cemetery Association has announced it’s fall cleanup. Those who wish to keep flowers should remove them by Thursday, Oct. 15. Any remaining flowers will be disposed of by the maintenance department.

Falconer Village Board To Meet

FALCONER — The Falconer Village Board will hold its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, in the Falconer Public Library. The meeting has been moved in observance of the Columbus Day holiday.

Conservation District Board To Meet Oct. 21

The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Directors will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21. A location is yet to be determined. Those planning to attend should call 664-2351, ext. 5, to provide contact information. The Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District’s secretary will follow up with to provide the meeting location as soon as it is determined. The public is invited to attend.
