Boat Parade Moved To Aug. 8

The Chautauqua Lake Twin Tier Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society has moved its parade to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8. Chapter President Doug Cornelius said Wednesday that due to a poor weather forecast for this weekend, the board made the decision to move the parade back from its original July 11 date. The parade is taking the place of the society’s annual boat show, which could not be held due to COVID-19 concerns. This event was organized in order to thank first responders, and will include members of the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department and the Dewitville Fire Department.
