Library Trustees To Meet Today

BUSTI — The trustees of the Hazeltine Public Library will meet today. Members of the public who wish to participate are invited to contact the library at 487-1281 for more details about the meeting.

Quilter’s Guild June Meeting Canceled

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Quilters’ Guild will not meet in June due to COVID-19 restrictions. Organizers hope to be able to meet again in July. The guild is using its Westfield Quilters’ Guild Facebook page to do a show-and-tell of members’ current projects in lieu of regular meetings.

Outdoor Club To Kayak At Howard Eaton Dam

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will kayak at Howard Eaton Dam in North East, Pa., on Sunday. Members will meet at the Finley Lake boat launch at 2 p.m. and then proceed to the dam. Pennsylvania boat registrations are needed. Denny Anderson will be the leader.

Spaghetti Dinner To Be Held

The Marco Polo Club will be holding a take-out spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Patrons are recommended to call 665-3309 in advance to order. All customers are asked to enter the parking lot for pickup via the Dexter Street entrance and proceed to the doors on the side of the club. Patrons must remain in their vehicles, and masks must be worn when picking up order. Dinners are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Board Of Education To Meet Tuesday

The North Collins Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16. This meeting will be live-streamed to Youtube and can be accessed live from a link on the district’s website, www.northcollins.com. Members of the public who want to submit a public comment can email the District Clerk at kmason@northcollinscsd.orgprior to the BOE meeting. In addition, the meeting will be recorded and transcribed at a later date.

Leadership Training On Healthcare Set

The Campaign for New York Health, the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County and Physicians for a National health Program NY Metro will be hosting leadership training on healthcare storytelling on Thursday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via Zoom. Reservations are requested by visiting www.pnhpnymetro.org/training06250. During the training, participants will discuss their experiences accessing health care, before and during the coronavirus pandemic, practice healthcare storytelling best practices; and learn about opportunities to share their health care stories in advocacy for universal health care.

Planning Board To Meet Tues.

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s Capital Projects Review meeting will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday via videoconferencing, as permitted by the state Open Meetings Law.
