Memorial Day Parade Canceled

LAKEWOOD — Due to COVID-19, the Memorial Day parade and services ending at Sunset Hill Cemetery have been canceled. The Lakewood Legion and Herman Kent Legion will be rendering honors to veterans by decorating their graves and playing taps. The legion asks that all residents remember local veterans who given all the country.

Randolph Budget Hearing Set

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Central School Board will hold a budget hearing on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and a board meting afterward. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the public will not be permitted to attend the meetings in person. Those who would like to attend via Zoom are asked contact the district clerk at 358-7005. The meeting will be recorded and available on the district’s website and transcribed at a later date.

County IDA Meeting Canceled

The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.

Mayville Senior Citizens Will Not Meet During June

MAYVILLE — The Mayville Senior Citizens meetings normally held on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Mayville VFW in Mayville will not be held during the month of June. Scheduled 2020 trips are on hold until further notice.

PVCS Board Meeting To Be Held May 28

The Pine Valley Central School Board’s budget hearing and board meeting will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 7 p.m. via Zoom video conference. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the public will not be permitted to attend the board meeting in person. Instructions for viewing will be posted on the district website at pval.org.

Meeting, Dinner Events Canceled

The Chautauqua Central School Alumni Association annual meeting and dinner celebration scheduled for July 10 and 11 have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The events will be rescheduled in 2021.
