Mobile Pantry To Be At Ashville UM

ASHVILLE — The Food Bank of Western New York Mobile Pantry Truck from Buffalo will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church on Tuesday. Open hours are 10 a.m. to noon and 3-5 p.m. The truck brings fresh produce and some staple items. To receive free food, only proof of address from the following ZIP codes is required: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785 and anyone who lives in the town of Busti. Please wear your face mask and keep 6 feet of distance while in line. The food will be pre-boxed like last month. A volunteer will sign you in and take your box to your car. Webinar Set For Wednesday

The Parent Network of Western New York will host the webinar “Transition to Kindergarten for Children with Special Needs (CPSE — CSE)” from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, to discuss the differences between preschool special education and school age special education. Park Commission Meeting Canceled

The Chautauqua County Park Commission monthly meeting for April has been canceled. The commission will develop a means for the public to provide input at the May meeting, where plans for the county parks will be provided.

Baby Cafe Receives Grant

The Blackwell Chapel Baby Cafe has received a $2,000 grant from the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation to help the cafe continue its mission to help protect, promote, and support breastfeeding mothers and families.

Annual Cemetery Meeting Moved

GERRY — The Gerry Hill Cemetery Association has moved its annual meeting to Tuesday, June 2, at 7 p.m. at the Gerry Fire Hall. If the building remains closed, the group will meet at the Gerry Hill Cemetery.

‘Let’s Talk Teletherapy’ Seminar Set

The Parent Network of Western New York will host a teletherapy seminar, “Let’s Talk Teletherapy” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. Alumni Banquet Event Canceled

PANAMA — The Panama Central School alumni banquet originally scheduled for June 20 has been canceled. The group looks forward to holding the banquet in June 2021. Anyone with questions is asked to call Roe-Anne Faulkner at 782-3060.
