FREWSBURG — The Carroll Town Board meeting scheduled for April has been canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

DUNKIRK — The Safety Dance scheduled for today at Washington Park in Dunkirk has been postponed. After conferring with the mayor and event organizer, “it has been agreed upon that we did not want to chance any exposure with a crowd of people getting together in the Park due to social distancing and essential travel orders from the state,” the Dunkirk Police Department said in a news release.

Auxiliary Cancels Thurs. Meeting

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Rod and Gun Auxiliary has canceled its board meeting scheduled for Thursday and the pot luck dinner meeting on Monday, April 13, due to the coronavirus social distancing guidelines.

Will Not Meet

The Chautauqua County Society of Artists meeting scheduled for the month of April has been canceled due to the guidelines established during the coronavirus outbreak. The group will wait until May to determine if a meeting is possible.

Senior Council Cancels Meeting

The United Senior Council meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled. Information regarding a future meeting will be made available as soon as arrangements have been made.
