Humane Society To Host Socially Distanced Event

The Chautauqua County Humane Society is inviting the community to join in for their first ever “Easter egg Hunt: Social Distancing Edition.” CCHS director of community Relations Brian Papalia said, “Since traditional Easter egg hunts will most likely not be happening due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we thought having a virtual experience on our website would be a fun experience for families.” Beginning today, five Easter eggs will be hidden on chqhumane.org. One of the five eggs will be an eggs-tra hard to find golden egg. The first 10 people to find all five eggs by Monday, April 13, will get to choose the name of one of the shelter pets. The humane society will also send the winners a picture of the pet each named when the pets are adopted.
