Thanksgiving Buffet To Be Held

The Marvin House, 2 W. Fifth St., Jamestown, will host a Thanksgiving buffet on Thursday, Nov. 28. A traditional Thanksgiving buffet will be offered with all the usual trimmings, including roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, turkey gravy, squash, vegetables and dessert. The cost is $25 per person. Holiday Bazaar Is Set For Today

EAST RANDOLPH — The East Randolph United Methodist Church is hosting a holiday bazaar, bake sale, and a homemade macaroni and cheese and ham luncheon from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the church, 122 Church St., East Randolph. The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The door prize will be two community quilts. Church members made squares and they were made into two quilts. The door prizes will be given away at 2 p.m. along with the basket drawings. All proceeds will benefit church missions projects.

SWCS Board Will Hold Meeting

The Southwestern Central School Board will meet today at 6:30 p.m. in the board of education room. A dinner meeting and discussion of educational leadership goals and initiatives will follow the meeting.

Auxiliary Will Meet Wednesday

The Herman Kent Post 53 VFW Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the ILS Veterans Club, 364 Fluvanna Ave. The auxiliary is hosting district president Jill Kenney. Light refreshments will be served. All current members and those eligible for membership are encouraged to attend. For more information, call the ILS Club at 664-7538.

Land Bank Sets Wed. Meeting

The Chautauqua County Land Bank will meet Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the main conference room at the Fredonia Technology Incubator, 214 Central Ave., Dunkirk. The public is welcome to attend.

Citizens Group To Meet Thurs.

CASSADAGA — The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will meet on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cassadaga Library. “Light Up Cassadaga” will be the main topic, and all area residents are encouraged to attend.

Firefighters Assn. To Meet Sunday

FREDONIA — The Southwestern Association of Volunteer Firemen will hold its quarterly business meeting Sunday at Fredonia Fire Department, 80 W. Main St. The executive meeting will begin at noon, and the general membership meeting will start at 1 p.m. The association is comprised of volunteer firefighters and EMS providers of fire departments and rescue squads in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Erie counties.

Music Class Meets On Wed.

FREWSBURG — Music with Rachel will meet on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. The free class is for babies and toddlers ages 6 months to 4 years old and a caregiver. The class includes songs, movement, instruments and parachute play. The class takes place in the community room at Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg.
