SWCS Board To Meet Tuesday

The Southwestern Central School Board will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the board of education room at the middle school. The public is invited to attend.

Community Craft Time Wednesday

KENNEDY — Community Craft Time at Kennedy First United Methodist Church will be held Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon upstairs in the adult room. This is open to all adults. For more information, call the church office at 267-2645. The church is located at the corner of Church and Second street in Kennedy and is handicap accessible through the lower-side door.

Lutheran Midweek Lenten Services

The Lutheran Community Midweek Lenten Services and luncheon will continue Wednesday at noon in the Memorial Chapel of the First Lutheran Church, 120 Chandler St., Jamestown. Guest pastor leading worship will be the Rev. Daniel K. Nagle of First Lutheran Church in Jamestown. Nagle’s meditation will be on “Holy Communion.” A 12:30 p.m. luncheon will follow in the church parlors served by the ladies of the First Lutheran Altar Society for a nominal fee. The public is welcome to attend.

Region Quilt Guild Set To Meet

BUSTI — The Chautauqua Region Quilt Guild will meet at the Busti Fire Hall on Wednesday, April 10, at 6:45 p.m. The program will be a Community Sew-In. Refreshments will be served and guests are welcome to attend.

Historical Society Hosts Speaker

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Historical Society Guest Speaker Series continues on Wednesday April 10, as Cristie Herbst, president of the Chautauqua County Historical Society and descendent of our generations of Great Lakes commercial fishermen, will present a history of Barcelona as a fishing and shipping center. The event, free and open to the public, begins at 7 p.m. at the Bemus Point Historical Society Museum on Alburtus Avenue in Bemus Point. Alzheimer’s

Program Set Wed.

DUNKIRK — Understanding Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia will be presented at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in the Connections North building at Chautauqua Opportunities, 10825 Bennett Road, Dunkirk. To reserve a seat for the free program, call 626-0600 during traditional business hours or after-hours by calling 800-272-3900. While the programs is free to attend, pre-registration is encouraged to ensure there are enough materials and to relay any changes to the schedules. To reserve a seat and learn more about other Alzheimer’s Association programs and services, contact the WNY Chapter office at 800-272-3900. Cassadaga School Board Meets Mon.

CASSADAGA — The Cassadaga-Valley Central School Board will meet Monday at 7 p.m. in the Sinclairville Elementary cafeteria. The public is welcome to attend.
