BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point School Board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria at Maple Grove Middle-High School, Dutch Hollow Road, Bemus Point. The public is welcome to attend.

Historical Society Directors Meeting

The Carroll Historical Society will host a board of directors meeting Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Myers Memorial Library. All board members are asked to attend. A discussion will be held on a grant, open house and other matters. The public is welcome to attend.

Zoning Board To Meet Wednesday

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, in the board room of the Anthony C. Caprino Municipal Building, 20 W. Summit St., Lakewood. The public is welcome to attend.

Soil & Water District Meeting

The Chautauqua County Soil & Water Conservation District will host its directors meeting Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Northcrest Business Park, 220 Fluvanna Ave. Suite 600, Jamestown.

Beekeepers To Meet Feb. 14

The Chautauqua County Beekeepers Association will hold its second meeting on the year on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m. at the Frank Bratt Ag Center, Turner Road, Airport Hill, Jamestown. All are welcome to attend.

Free Safe Boating Course

FALCONER — The Falconer Public Library and Falconer Fire Department announce a free New York Safe Boating Course for the spring school break. The eight-hour course will be given Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 19 and 20 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day at the Falconer Fire Department, 115 Davis St., Falconer. It is open to children at least 10 years of age and adults. Course covers required equipment, navigation law, rules of the road, personal watercraft, paddle craft and sailboat safety and more. It is required for anyone born on or after May 1, 1996, to operate a motor boat and for everyone to operate a personal watercraft. Pre-registration if required. March Pancake Breakfast Set

The Emmanuel Baptist Church, 53 23rd St., Jamestown, will be holding a pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 9, from 9-11:30 a.m. The cost of the breakfast is $6 and the public is welcome to attend.

RUSSELL, Pa. — Lander United Methodist Church, 5582 Route 957, Russell, Pa., will host a Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner Tuesday, March 5, from 4:30-7 p.m. The price is a donation.
