Thrift Store

Seeks Donations

The Community Outreach Center Thrift Store is in need of gently used clothing and household goods. They are grateful for all the wonderful donations received in the past. All proceeds from the sale of these goods benefit local charities. The Thrift Store is located on the third floor of the First Lutheran Church, corner of Chandler and Center streets. Store hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Clymer BOE To Meet On Monday

CLYMER — The Clymer Central School Board will hold its monthly meeting Monday at 7 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Auxiliary Sets Tuesday Meeting

BUSTI — The Busti Fire Department Auxiliary will hold it’s regular monthly meeting, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. The group will be making plans for the Fire Department’s Daytona 500 party, the County Auxiliary Meeting to be held May 1 and other money making ideas. New members are always welcome.

Bemus Library Board To Meet

BEMUS POINT — The Bemus Point Library Board is meeting Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.

Library Panel Meets Jan. 19

The Clymer-French Creek Free Library board will hold its fourth quarterly and annual board meeting on Saturday, Jan. 19, at noon at the library. The public is welcome to attend.

IDA Board Will Meet Tuesday

Tthe County of Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, at 10 a.m. at the BWB Building, 201 W. Third St., second floor board room, Jamestown. The meeting is open to the public.

Westfield GOP Meets Jan. 23

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Republican Committee will hold a public caucus in the North Room of Eason Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 23, beginning at 7 p.m. The purpose of the caucus is to select individuals who would be interested in running for mayor of the village of Westfield, or trustee for the village of Westfield, in the March 19, 2019, village election. Those interested in serving and who want to appear on the Republican line of the ballot must participate in the caucus process. In addition to being present for the caucus on Jan. 23, anyone seeking to hold an elected office in the village of Westfield must be a resident of the village of Westfield. Firemen’s Group To Meet Feb. 10

CHAUTAUQUA — The South Western Association of Volunteer Firemen has announced its next quarterly business meeting hosted by the Chautauqua Fire Department in the town of Chautauqua on Sunday, Feb. 10. The meeting will take place at the Chautauqua Fire Department located at 2 Royal Way. The executive meeting will begin at noon and the general membership meeting to start at 1 p.m.

The association is comprised of volunteer firefighters and EMS providers of fire departments and rescue squads in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Erie counties. The association was originally organized in 1908. For further information, visit swavf.com.
