Noel Candlelight Service To Be Held Monday

WESTFIELD — A Noel Candlelight Christmas Eve service will be held at 11 p.m. Monday in Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., Westfield. The service will include Scripture, song, dance and handbells featuring Westfield area youth and adults. The service is organized and directed by Kent and Nannette Knappenberger. In past years, the more than 40 youth and adult member choir participants have represented as many as 13 different churches. Offerings from the evening’s service will go to the Westfield Ministerial Association and will benefit the community.

Sets Service

SOUTH DAYTON — The South Dayton Free Methodist Church will host a Christmas eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24. The public is welcome to attend.

Baptist Church

To Hold Cantata

ELLINGTON — The Baptist Church of Ellington will present the Christmas cantata, “O Little Town Of Bethlehem” at 4 p.m. Saturday. There will be a dinner following the performance. The cantata is free and open to the public.

Public Invited To Holiday Service

STOCKTON — The choir of the Stockton Community Church, 4554 W. Railroad Ave., Stockton, will present the Christmas cantata “Welcome to Our World” on Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service. The public is invited to attend.

Infinity Will Hold

Market, Auction

Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc. is inviting local artists to participate in the fifth annual Infinity Art Market and Auction. Infinity’s Art Market and Auction is an annual event that supports area artists by giving them a market to showcase and sell their arts while raising money to support youth music and arts instruction at the Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Center. The fundraiser, which is held at the Infinity Arts Cafe, will take place Saturday, March 9. Online registration for interested artists can be found at www.infinityperformingarts.org. Registration forms are due before Jan. 15.

Cross Country

Ski Event Ready

On Wednesday, Jan. 2, Allegany Nordic Ski Patrol and the Environmental Education Department will host an evening cross country ski on the Art Roscoe trails of Allegany State Park followed by a social in the Summit Warming Hut. The Allegany Nordic Patrol will be on hand to help and give tips to new comers. All levels are welcome to participate. Those attending should bring a headlamp and something to share for the social. Rental equipment will be available for a special price at the Summit Warming Hut from 5 to 6 p.m. The program starts at 6 p.m. with a short clinic.
