Planning Board Meets Oct. 10

The Chautauqua County Planning Board’s monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 4 p.m. in Room 331 of the Gerace Office Building, 3 N. Erie St., Mayville. All meetings of the County Planning Board are open to the public.

Rod And Gun Club To Meet

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood Area Rod and Gun Auxiliary Board will meet Thursday, Oct. 4, at 6:30 p.m. The annual Harvest Dinner meeting will be Monday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m. Members must take a dish to pass. New members are welcome to attend. Nomination of new officers will be held. Program for the evening will be Mary Ann Genco speaking on behalf of the Shades of Pink Breast and Female Cancer Support Group. Greeters for the evening will be Connie Storms and Marilyn Trusso. Helpers are Sally Hagg and Sany Carlson. Setting up at 5 p.m. will be Nancy Rasmussen and Sharon Purdy. Clean up will be Mary Alonge and Lyn Spencer.

Sinclairville Library Sets Sale

SINCLAIRVILLE — The Sinclairville Free Library’s annual book sale will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 2-7 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a bag sale Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon. The library is accepting new and gently used books, audio books and DVDs in good condition. The library is not accepting encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines or Reader’s Digest condensed novels. Bemus Point BOE To Meet Monday

The Bemus Point Central School Board of Education will meet Monday in the cafeteria in the Maple Grove Middle-High School building on Dutch Hollow Road.

CVCS Audit Group To Meet

CASSADAGA — The Audit Committee of the Cassadaga Valley Central School District will meet Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 6:30 p.m. in the business office. The purpose of the meeting is to review the external audit.

Bridge Group Releases Scores

Jamestown Area Bridge has released contact bridge results for Sept. 22. Don and JoJo Lindquist finished in first place followed by Fran McCarren and Cheryl Johnson were second.
