Poetry Slam To Be Held July 5

The Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Center will be hosting, “Pulse Poetry Slam Open Mic Night” on Thursday, July 5, at 6 p.m. at the Infinity Arts Cafe. Poets and audience-members are welcome. Bible School Kicks Off July 6

CHERRY CREEK — The South Dayton Free Methodist Church, 327 Pine St., South Dayton, will host its vacation Bible school, “Sidewalk Gang,” Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon July 6 through Aug. 24. Vacation Bible school will include Bible stories, music, crafts and games. Lunch will be provided each day. A special closing program will be held Aug. 24. Jamestown Business College will be holding its annual Freshman meet-and-greet on Tuesday, July 10, at the Chautauqua Mall. The event is from 4-7 p.m.

Ellington Church Sets Bible School

ELLINGTON — The Baptist Church of Ellington is hosting a vacation bible school at the Ellington Town Park from July 9-11 from 6-8:30 p.m. The theme of this program is Heroes of the Bible. Grades kindergarten to fourth grade will be given Bible lessons, crafts, games and snacks. Grades 5-12 will have a three-day basketball clinic.
