Infinity Students To Perform

Students from the Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Center will be showcasing their talents at a Kaleidoscope performance on Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Infinity Arts Cafe. Kaleidoscope nights are an ever-changing but interesting mix, featuring a wide variety of performers, such as: Infinity music, poetry, dance, or theater students, Infinity instructors or invited guests from the community. The show is always different. This event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. The Infinity Arts Cafe performance entrance is located at 300 E. Third St. Look for the neon guitar.

Altar And Rosary Society To Meet

The Holy Apostles Parish Altar and Rosary Society will meet in the Ss. Peter and Paul Church Hall on Wednesday following the 12:10 p.m. Mass. The agenda will include preparation for the workshop for the fall mini-craft sale. Members attending should take a bag lunch; Refreshments will be provided. New members are welcome to attend.

Ripley BOE To Meet Thursday

RIPLEY — The reorganizational meeting of the Ripley Central School Board of Education will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday followed immediately by the regular Board of Education meeting in the Research Library, Room 204, of the Ripley Central School. The public is welcome to attend.

Southwestern BOE To Meet

The Southwestern Central School Board will hold an organizational/regular meeting on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the board of education room at the middle school. The public is welcome to attend.

Library Announces Story Hour

The Cherry Creek Library announced “July Happenings.” Story Hours will be held this Saturday and Saturday, July 15 and 29 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The movie “Finding Nemo” will be shown on July 22 from 10:15-10:45 a.m. All are welcome to attend.

Rowing Assn. Lesson Planned

The Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association will begin its second session of the Learn-to-Row program. On Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the association will host an opportunity to experience rowing in Jamestown. The session teaches boat terminology, safety, ergometer instruction, rowing simulation on the dock, as well as rowing in a four- or eight-person shell on the river. The program continues from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday, July 10, through Thursday, July 13, at the boat house next to McCrea Point Park, 18 Jones and Gifford Ave., Jamestown. Host Breakfast

The Ripley United Methodist Church, 84 W. Main St., Ripley, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday from 7:30-11 a.m. Included will be pancakes, sausage, bacon, made-to-order eggs and omelets, homefries, biscuits and sausage gravy, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $7 per person. Proceeds will benefit Noah’s Ark, a clothing program of the First Presbyterian Church of Ripley.
