Al and Diane Atcheson of Jamestown, N.Y., announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Katherine, to Mathew Cardinale, the son of Julie Cardinale of Kennedy, N.Y., and the late Terry Cardinale and the grandson of Diane Fargo and Anne Hirleman, both of Jamestown, N.Y.

Miss Atcheson is a graduate of Jamestown High School, Jamestown Community and is pursuing a master’s degree in nursing. She is employed by Lutheran Social Services as a registered nurse. Her fiance is a graduate of Jamestown High School, the State University at Fredonia with a bachelor of social work and is pursuing his masters of social work. He is employed by The Resource Center as an agency hab specialist.

A September 2017 wedding is planned.
