Paul and Catherine Hazzard celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 12, 2016, with a trip to Spain. They are the parents of Linda (Bruce) Sharp and Jennifer (James) Dodohara. They also have three grandchildren: Ian and Ashdon Sharp and Jacob Dodohara.

Hazzard and the former Catherine White were married March 12, 1966, in Busti, N.Y. The Rev. Keith Tennis performed the ceremony.

Hazzard is a retired teacher and had been employed by Jamestown Public Schools. Mrs. Hazzard is a retired secretary and had been employed by N.Y.S. OMRDD.
