City Woman Charged After Injuring Man With Hammer
A Jamestown woman was being held pending arraignment after police say she injured a man with a hammer.
Officers with the Jamestown Police Department were called shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday to an area near Summer Place and East Eighth Street for a report of a person with a weapon. An investigation found 31-year-old Jodi L. Semanovich had allegedly assault a man with a hammer, causing minor injuries. Semanovich was later located an taken into custody without incident, the Jamestown Police Department said Friday in a press release.
Semanovich was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
