Red Raiders Sweep Chautauqua Lake

CUTTING — Jamestown earned a pair of 4-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 West bowling wins over host Chautauqua Lake on Tuesday at Cutting Lanes.

In the boys match the Red Raiders (25-7) threw a 868-863-850-2,581 while the Thunderbirds (0-36) managed a 493-434-499-1,426. Riley Piazza hit a 168-194-226-588 and Brandon Michael 184-190-176-529 for the winners.

Zach Arthur led Chautauqua Lake with a 352.

In the girls match Jamestown (22-10) tossed a 651-586-633-1,870 while Chautauqua Lake (0-36) finished with a 360-394-403-1,157. Connie Rushforth led the winners with a 160-432 while Alexis Cowen hit a 160-409.

Cheyenne Foster led Chautauqua Lake with a 293.

HORNETS ROLL

Forestville (35-5) was a 3-1 winner over Randolph in Division 2 West boys bowling action, and a 4-0 winner in the girls match at Jamestown Bowling Company.

The winners hit a 786-946-767-2,499 thanks to a 187-192-547 from Zach Barlette-Dye, a 190 from Braden Grubb and a 185 from Nate Barlette-Dye.

Randolph (25-15) hit a 752-794-847-2,393 as Tyler Raleigh led the way with a 200-190-224-614, Noah Barber a 178-192 and Wyatt Adams a 189.

Forestville improved to 30-2 a linescore of 651-722-705-2,078 in the girls match. Tristen Olsen rolled a 194-223-223-640, Lily Vanarsdale 210-181-200-591 and Emily Barlette-Dye a 213.

Alexa Gozdalski led Randolph with a 220 and Harley Bruyere a 175.
