Rebels Lose, 2-1
ODENTON, Md. — The Maryland Black Bears claimed a 2-1 overtime win over the Jamestown Rebels in North American Hockey League play on Saturday night.
Luke Posner picked up his fourth goal of the year on a feed by Matteo Menotti to seal the victory.
Jamestown (8-6-1) carried a 1-0 lead through much of the game after Colin Schmidt was able to tally at 1:23 of the first period on feeds by Alex Frye and Jim Glynn.
Maryland (6-8-3) evened things up at 11:43 of the third off a goal from Daylon Mannon.
Noah West made 24 saves in the loss while David Tomeo stopped 29 shots for Maryland.
Jamestown will welcome Johnstown on Wednesday for a 7:05 p.m. contest.
