Rebels Fall 6-5 In Shootout
ODENTON, Md. — The day after prevailing in a shootout, the Jamestown Rebels suffered a loss in the same way as Maryland (5-5) claimed a 6-5 North American Hockey League win Saturday night.
The Rebels (5-7) could not hold on to a 4-2 lead, giving up three goals in the final period while failing to record a stop in the shootout.
Nick Stuckless had a pair of goals while Augustine Moore and Seth Bergeron also lit the lamp in the first period for Jamestown, but the Black Bears scored a pair off power play goals from Connor Pooley and Lukas Ljungblom to tie the game in the third.
Moore collected a pair of assists in the loss, as did Jake Felker and Alex Roy while Lukas Uhler picked up a power-play goal at 16:47 of the third.
The Rebels return home next weekend, hosting Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday night at 7:45.
