On Tuesday, Foley lifted the Red Dragons to a 1-0 overtime win over Fredonia, notching the game’s only goal in the 100th minute of play off an assist from Tristan Spillane. On Thursday, Foley converted on another pass from Spillane as the Red Dragons topped Dunkirk, 2-1.
GIRLS SOCCER, Izzy Penhollow, Falconer.
On Tuesday, Penhollow led the Golden Falcons to a 4-2 win over Cattaraugus-Little Valley, grabbing a pair of unassisted goals and a third tally on a feed from sister Grace Penhollow. On Thursday, the junior added two more goals as Falconer fell to Silver Creek, 5-4. Penhollow would add her second hat trick of the season on Friday in a 5-0 win over Salamanca.
VOLLEYBALL, Natalie Angeletti, Panama.
On Wednesday, Angeletti had six kills, seven digs and two aces in a sweep of Randolph. On Friday, she collected eight kills, seven digs and four aces in a three-set win over Forestville.
GIRLS SWIMMING, Allie Stockwell, Jamestown.
Stockwell led Jamestown to a 94-82 non-league win over Jamestown on Wednesday night, taking home the 50-yard freestyle in a pool-record 24.76 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:01.51.
