Maple Grove, Southwestern Boys Claim T&F Championships
CLYMER — Nick Fabrizio and Truman Purslow doubled to send the Maple Grove boys to a 94-37 victory over Clymer/Sherman/Panama and their fifth straight Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association championship.
Fabrizio claimed the shot (37-5.5) and the discus (113-0), while Purslow won the high jump (5-8) and the triple jump (38-6).

TROJANS DO IT AGAIN
Southwestern (7-0, 5-0) sealed up back-to-back Chautauqua Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 track and field championships with an 83-53 win over Falconer/Cassadaga Valley (5-1, 3-1).
Eddie Scroxton took home the 400 meters (52.3), the 800 meters (2:09) and the 1,600 meters (4:42) to lead the winners while Cooper Pannes grabbed wins in the shot put (44 feet, 1 inch) and the discus (121-9).
Jade Kinnear also claimed the 110-meter hurdles in 16.9 and the 400-meter hurdles in 1:01 to aid the Trojans.

RANDOLPH– Randolph (3-2) was an 85-50 CCAA Division II winner over Salamanca thanks to a triple-win performance by Deter Miinte, who picked up wins in the 100 meters (12.0), 400 meters (54.7) and the triple jump (38 feet 3.5 inches).
Matt Evans was also a triple winner, as he claimed the 1,600 meters in 5:30.8, the 800 meters in 2:12.5 and the 3,200 meters in 12:19.1.
Kohl Ambuske took the high jump with a mark of 5 feet, 6 inches and the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.3 for the winners.

FREWSBURG — Zach Heberlein was a triple winner as Frewsburg downed Cattaraugus-Little Valley, 86-46, in Division 2 West boys track.
Heberlein won the high hurdles (17.6), the 400 hurdles (1:00.5) and the 200 (25) for the Bears, now 2-3 in the league and 2-4 overall.
Bobby Steffy claimed two events for C-LV, winning the 100 (12.2) and pole vault (7-0). Delain Geist also recorded a pair of wins for C-LV by capturing the 800 (2:21.4) and long jump (17-9).
