Four Title Games On Tap Today At Jamestown CC

There will be a full slate of Section VI basketball games on tap at Jamestown Community College today.

Due to inclement weather Thursday night and Friday morning, boys and girls championship games are now part of a quadruple header, beginning with a pair of girls games this afternoon.

The opener at noon will feature No. 2 Franklinville vs. No. 1 Panama in the Class D title game followed by No. 2 Allegany-Limestone vs. No. 1 Holland in the Class C championship contest at 2 p.m.

The first boys game will feature No. 3 Franklinville vs. No. 1 Buffalo East at 4 p.m. for the Class D crown. The day will conclude at 6 p.m. when No. 3 Tapestry Charter will take on No. 1 Randolph in the Class C title clash.

Fifth-seeded Jamestown’s Section VI Class AA girls semifinal against No. 1 Orchard Park originally scheduled for Friday will be played at 5:30 p.m. today at Kenmore West High School.
