Skeet Leagues

Five teams were able to beat their opponents twice in the Chautauqua County Winter Skeet league over the weekend.

The Aces, the Nitros, the Birdbusters, the Claybusters and the Dirty Birds claimed two wins recently.

The Aces took care of Top Shelf, 121-113 and 121-120; the Nitros downed the Crushers, 123-115 and 122-119; the Birdbusters defeated the Rookies, 117-114 and 119-115; the Claybusters dropped the Primers, 122-107 and 120-107; and the Dirty Birds beat the Bird Dogs, 106-95, and the sixth man was the difference after the Dirty Birds and the Bird Dogs had tied at 110-all.

The Dominators beat Bee Happy, 113-110, and then Bee Happy prevailed over the Dominators, 117-112.

Jay Reeves shot his first 25 competitive and then shot another 25 for his first 50.

Dave Wilke, Matt Littlefield, Scott Seiber and Rick Rupprecht also drilled perfect 50s.

Shooting 25s were Ken Swan, Travis Monday, Shane Lindstrom, Dan Ficarra, Brad Gunnell, Jerry Reeves, Bob Gunnell, Chad Swan, Todd Becker, Dan Berry, Dan Kavanaugh and Neil Eddy.
