Crick Pours In 31 Points In Falconer’s Basketball Win

FALCONER — Falconer (0-5, 2-11) was able to force enough turnovers to pick up a 53-39 non-league boys basketball win over visiting Cattaraugus-Little Valley (0-2, 2-9) on Wednesday, while offensive production came in the form of a 31-point, seven-steal night from Brandon Crick.

Cody Dallas also collected seven steals to go with his six points, while Tylar Olson and Trent Wood each came down with nine rebounds for the Golden Falcons.

“Dallas and Crick played outstanding defense. The press that we put on them forced those turnovers,” said Falconer coach Jamie Glatz.

Jacob Goodenow was a bright spot for the Timberwolves, finishing with 14 points, while Scot O’Donnell ended his night with seven rebounds and seven points, and Austin Baker had 10 points, six boards and seven steals.

ELLICOTTVILLE — Randolph improved to 5-4 overall with a 62-33 non-league girls basketball win over Ellicottville (3-5) on Wednesday, courtesy of a 22-point, six-rebound, eight-steal performance by Kara Leeper.

The Cardinals also had Sydney Hvizdzak chip in 14 points while Joan Adams finished her night with 16 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks after some hard work in the paint.

Makenna Smith led the Lady Eagles offense with 13 points.
