Jayhawks Put Up 110 Points In Road Win

TITUSVILLE, Pa. — Led by Williams Overo, Jamestown Community College evened its record at 4-4 on Monday night following a 110-100 victory over Pitt-Titusville in an NJCAA non-conference basketball game.

Overo scored 24 points to lead five players in double figures as the Jayhawks outlasted Pitt-Titusville.

After Overo, JCC received contributions from Tavion King with 18 points, Keshaun Howard with 14 points, Sherman’s Chris Robson with 13 points and D.J. Branch with 10 points.

Overo scored 18 points in the first half when the Jayhawks took a 56-47 edge. King supported Overo with 12 points.

Soloman Brown proved to be a thorn in the side of the Jayhawks with 28 points. Brown received assistance from George Miller with 21 points, Daquon Sanders with 17 points and Nasr Blanden with 14 points.

King grabbed 13 rebounds and Overo added 12 rebounds while Branch added five assists. Howard had two blocks and King added four steals for the Jayhawks.

The Jayhawks are idle until Nov. 29 when they entertain Niagara County CC in a Region 3 Division II game at 7:30 p.m.
