Senior Tour Plays At Elkdale CC

SALAMANCA — David Young was the medalist with a 74 and was second to Dave Gerringer, who had a zero handcap, with minus four points in the White A Flight in the Asquith Senior Golf Tour at Elkdale Country Club on Monday.

Bruce Blume was third with a plus four in the White Division.

Tom Szydlo led the White B Flight with a minus one followed by Paul Edson with a minus two and Jeff Robinson with a minus two. Szydlo shot a 92.

Ross Cali shot a 78 in the Gold Flight where he was second with plus two. Ron Juzdowski was first with a plus four and Dave Allen third with a plus one.

Joe Palermo carded a 92 and was plus five for second place in the Gold B Division, which was led by Bill Pienta with a plus seven. Larry Eidens was third with a plus three.

Jim Caronia’s 94 led the Gold C Flight where Cass Culotta and Jim Fincher tied for first with a plus one. Bill Anderson had a minus two and Don Maxson had a minus two.

Dave Nichols shot a 92 in the Gold B Flight, which was led by Jordan Hall with a plus six. Boyd Matteson had a plus eight and Nichols had a plus five.

Closest-to-the-pin honors went to Art Asquith on No. 4, Andy Scalise on No. 9, Cali on No. 12 and Ray Glasgow on No. 10.

At 9 a.m. on Monday, the Asquith Senior Tour will play at Tri-County CC and Fox Run GC.
