Youth Football Clinic Set For July 30 In Gowanda

A youth football offensive skills clinic sponsored by the Gowanda American Legion Post 409 will be held at Gateway Park on Palmer Street in Gowanda on Saturday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic is open to all young athletes ages 7-12 in Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and southern Erie counties.

In addition to the morning skill session, each participant will receive a clinic T-shirt , lunch, ice cream treats, play in the afternoon touch football tournament and be eligible to win awards. The cost for clinic is just $5 per athlete. The first 45 athletes that register by calling clinic director Mark Benton at 532-4053 or email will be accepted.
