ST. BONAVENTURE — St. Bonaventure University sophomore Mckenna Maycock has earned a spot on the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball All-Academic Team, officials announced Tuesday.

It is another honor for the Randolph native who was previously named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District teams earlier this month.

An accounting major with a 4.0 GPA, Maycock enjoyed a breakout season on the court this year. She appeared in all 29 games , including six starts, averaging 7.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 28.4 minutes per game. She finished the year by scoring in double figures in the final four games of the season, giving her 11 games of double-figure scoring while shooting better than 48 percent from the floor.

The entire St. Bonaventure women’s basketball program has continually been remarkably successful academically as the team has ranked in the nation’s GPA Top 25 the past two years and boasted a cumulative GPA better than 3.3 during the fall semester.
