JCC Men’s Basketball Team Is Fourth Seed For Regional Tourney

The Jamestown Community College men’s basketball team will enter next weekend’s NJCAA Region 3 Division II Tournament as the fourth seed.

The Jayhawks (16-12 overall, 5-5 in region) will meet No. 3 Monroe CC (6-4 in the region) at 7:30 p.m. a week from today at No. 1 Niagara County CC, which is the nightcap of a twin bill. The first game will pit the No. 5 seed, Erie CC (4-6 in region), against the CC Rhode Island at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, March 4, Niagara County CC (8-2 in the region) will meet the CC of Rhode Island/Erie CC winner at 1 p.m., while second-seeded Genesee CC (7-3 in the region) will take on the Monroe CC-Jamestown CC winner at 3 p.m.

The championship game is scheduled for 1 p.m., Sunday, March 5.
