Red Raiders Fall Behind Early
WILLIAMSVILLE – Jamestown got behind early and couldn’t catch up, suffering an 11-7 Erie County Interscholastic Conference Division 1 softball loss to Williamsville North on Friday.
The hosts scored four runs in the first and second innings and the Red Raiders (1-8, 0-8) were never able to recover.
Elizabeth Brand and Megan Fish had two hits with Brand scoring three runs and Fish scoring two in the win. One of Fish’s hits was a triple.
Olivia Gates led Jamestown with two hits, including a three-run triple in the fourth inning.
