It needs to become mandatory for our country to begin controlling ALL Cost. 4 day work weeks along with returning to no stores opened on Sunday would do a lot for the environment / economics / family life. We need to become less selfish is this country!

will government offices be open for 10 hours each of the 4 days? some people claim to be tired after an 8 hour day, will they be as productive after 2 more hours each day? or just spend the 2 extra hours in a closed office drinking coffee to stay awake? also will dpw workers get paid for an extra 10 minute plus travel time break?

It's a good idea as long as employers don't use it as an excuse to cut full-time employee's hours and businesses remain open the same number of days.

I answered with a qualified yes. Just as long as services offered don't decline and productivity remains the same, or increases. Public transportation, ride share and park and ride should also be expanded. Think of the millions of gallons of fuel are wasted in commuting in driver only vehicles and in traffic grid-lock; not to mention lost time and increased pollution.
