CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
HARMONY - Ronald C. Bartlett, 42, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation Tuesday on Spooner Road. Deputies observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road near the Route 474 intersection. After deputies checked the well being of the vehicle's occupants, they identified Bartlett as the driver. The investigation led to the DWI charge, and a New York State Police Information Network check showed Bartlett had two previous DWI convictions in the past 10 years, making Tuesday's arrest a felony. Police said Bartlett had a revoked driver's license for a previous alcohol-related offense, resulting in the felony aggravated unlicensed operation charge. Bartlett was arraigned and committed to Chautauqua County Jail, police said.
