The Jamestown Raiders split a pair of hockey games in two high shool club leagues they competed in recently at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.
The Raiders opened with two goals and went on to post a 7-3 verdict over Fort LeBoeuf in the Lake Shore League on Saturday.
On Friday in the Western New York High School Club league, the Raiders were beaten by Iroquois, 8-5, despite the hat trick from Billy Krywy.
Michael Mammoser and Krywy scored goals on assists from Tristan Myers, Anthony Tomassi and Dylan Bergman as the Raiders got started in the first period against Fort LeBoeuf with a 2-0 lead.
Mammoser recorded his second goal on assists by Krywy and Gib Stuart followed by Cole Munson's first varsity goal from Griffin Noon and Mitch Dorunda for a 4-0 Jamestown lead in the second stanza.
Fort LeBoeuf cut it to 4-1 entering the final period when Jamestown outscored FL, 3-2.
Stuart, Krywy and Mammoser scored the goals with Mammoser netting his hat trick for Jamestown. R.J. Keith assisted on two goals while Stuart, Bergman, Myers and Krywy had one each.
In the loss to Iroquois, Noon's first goal gave Jamestown a 1-0 lead and teammate Rick Hasselman scored from Mammoser to give the Raiders a 2-1 lead.
Iroquois managed to tie it at 2-2 after the opening period and then scored three goals in a one-minute span to break it open as it took advantage of Jamestown penalties.
The visitors added a fourth goal later in the second period for a 6-2 lead before Jamestown scored late on two Krywy goals with assists to Dylan Bergman and Mammoser.
Iroquois added two goals in the final stanza and Krywy recorded his hat trick in the defeat.
Jamestown plays at home Friday at 7 p.m. against Lancaster in the WNY High School Club League.
