A car going north on Foote Avenue struck a parked vehicle on the side of the road Sunday night, injuring the driver.
A red Kia Optima struck a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country, pushing the Chrysler about 20 feet forward where it nearly missed a fire hydrant, as the Kia flipped onto its side.
Jamestown Police and Fire departments responded to the scene and removed the roof of the Kia to extricate the driver, who appeared to have minor injuries. A dog, which also was in the car, appeared to be unharmed.
