Bradley Emil Anderson, 60, of Owensboro, Ky., died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, in Dalton, Ga.
He was born in Jamestown, N.Y. on Feb. 14, 1953, to Martin and Dorothy (Gerber) Anderson.
Brad lived his entire childhood in Ashville, N.Y., and graduated from Panama Central School in 1971. He studied communications at Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Mo., and received his master's degree at Wake Forest University.

He was a honorable and tireless worker whose career spanned across North America and western Europe. Those who worked with him adored his genial spirit and his wonderful sense of humor.
He found immeasurable fascination with the world and its history, spending countless hours reading. He never shied from sharing his boundless wisdom, especially if he could get an argument out of it. He simply loved people and their stories and would go out of his way to make strangers comfortable.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Robin Kirtley Anderson of Owensboro; son, Martin Anderson of New York; daughter, Emily Anderson of Los Angeles; brother, Douglas (Diane) Anderson of Blairsville, Ga.; sister, Suzanne (Gary) Neshkoff of Temperance, Mich.; and nephews: Daniel (Lindsey)
Neshkoff of Vero Beach, Fla., and Steven Neshkoff of Detroit, Mich. He is also survived by his in-laws, Allen (Penelope) Kirtley of Owensboro.
Services were in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory Owensboro, Ky., with Brad's longtime friend, Pastor Barry Freese, presiding.
