Chautauqua County clerk candidate Lori Cornell has named Jamestown-area business owner Antonina Bell (Nina) as her campaign finance chair. Bell will organize Cornell's fundraising events, including the upcoming "Then and Now" dinner theater fundraiser that will combine history and performances celebrating the women's suffrage movement.
"I am thrilled that Nina has agreed to organize activities to support the campaign," Cornell said. "She has generated unique and creative events that are not typical to campaigns and I am glad that she's on board."
"I am honored to be a part of Lori's campaign for County Clerk," Bell said. "I believe Lori Cornell is an extremely qualified, professional leader and will continue to make our County a better place if she attains this most important office."
Bell has worked in marketing, public relations, human resources, training and customer service departments. As a meeting and event planner in AB Better Alternatives, she worked on dozens of events through the years. The concept to bring together business professionals throughout the area, culminated in the largest "for business, by business" event in the Jamestown area. Nina was instrumental in bringing BNI to Jamestown. As a founding member of the chapter, she has served as vice president, assistant director, managing director and executive director for Western New York. An avid volunteer in the community as a Big Sister for 18 years, Rotarian, facilitator of the EPIC Parenting Workshops, eight-year coordinator of the CROP Hunger Walks, Bell has contributed much to the area being recognized as "Volunteer of the Year."
