"We've planned this special evening for ladies to enjoy with their mothers, daughters, sisters and girl friends," said Patty Eckwahl, director of marketing at Lutheran. "Our Best of Times seminar series focus on living well. Most women will agree that when we look our best we feel better."

Valerie Weaver, the Frugal Fashionista, center, demonstrates ways to expand and accessorize a wardrobe on a budget. Sharing in the fun are Patty Eckwahl, director of marketing for Lutheran and Bernie Palermo and Toni DeAngelo, Ladies Night Out committee members. Weaver is a certified image consultant through the London Image Institute. She is best known for her fashion savvy and sense of humor, bringing out the fun in fashion.

"I enjoy teaching women how to update their wardrobe and stay on trend through the use of accessories," Weaver said. "I'll also share many of the tips I've learned for expanding the wardrobe we have. One of my favorite stories is how I packed 27 outfits for a five-day conference in Las Vegas with just a carry-on suitcase. The ladies are in for an evening of laughter and fun."
In addition to the program on accessorizing, Chef Dave Bollman at Lutheran will present wine samples that are matched with a variety of chocolate desserts.
"It was a blast last year," said Bernie Palermo, committee member. "How can you go wrong with ladies enjoying their friends - along with fashion, a little wine and some chocolate?" For more information contact Eckwahl at 720-9122.
