Nick Kahanic Day

September 17, 2013
The Post-Journal

Pepsi Jamestown has officially declared today Nick Kahanic Day at its warehouse. The management team has honored the Falconer resident - and soda distribution engineer at Pepsi - for his success this summer as a Highland Games athlete, including winning the amateur World and North American championships. Sporting T-shirts, which read: "Pepsi Proud, Jamestown Pride with a likeness of Kahanic on the front, are, from the left, Fred Pellerito, sales manager; Chuck VanRiper, lead manager at Pepsi Jamestown; Paul Fuller, warehouse team leader; Kahanic; Bill Sauerland, driver; Rob Talbett, salesman; and Kirk Cardone, utility specialist. Kahanic autographed the shirts for all the employees. "Pretty amazing working for a company and for a group of individuals who give me so much support,'' Kahanic said. "They're a pretty special team I work with as well. They're always good for a laugh at my expense and a pat on the back. I'm truly blessed to have those men and women supporting me.''
