CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
FREDONIA - Steven L. Miller, of Mill Street, Cassadaga, was charged at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated per se and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Deputies responded to a property damage accident that occurred at Kwik Fill on Bennett Road. It was observed that the operator fled the scene following the accident, police said. The driver was later identified as Miller, who was allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
RIPLEY - Dennis T. Wade II, 36, of North East, Pa., was charged at 12:05 a.m. on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent or greater and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Deputies observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on South State Street. The driver was identified as Wade, and following an investigation, he was found to be intoxicated, police said. Police said Wade's license was revoked. He was scheduled to appear in Ripley Court at a later date.
HANOVER - A 17-year-old female was charged at 2 a.m. on Saturday with third-degree assault. Deputies took a report from a female victim who stated she was attacked by another female on East Spears Road. Deputies learned that the youth allegedly struck the victim in the head numerous times during the altercation, police said. The youth was issued an appearance ticket and will be in court at a later date.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Nikolay A. Simakov, of Amherst, was charged at 11:36 p.m. on Saturday with driving while intoxicated per se and aggravated driving while intoxicated. Officers responded to a call on Forest Avenue Extension to check the well-being of a motorist stopped on the side of the road. Simakov was identified as the driver and found to be intoxicated, police said. Her blood alcohol content was found to be greater than .18 percent, police said. Simakov was taken into custody and later released with an appearance ticket to be in court at a later date.
