Lakewood firefighters were summoned around 6 p.m. for a personal injury accident on First Avenue. Lakewood-Busti police also responded.
According to a police report, Ruth C. Murray, 77, lost control of her 2000 Pontiac Grand Am in the rear parking lot of Gene Swanson's Used Cars. Murray struck a bridge that connects First Avenue to the dealership, police said.

Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove Murray from the mangled vehicle, Lakewood fire Chief Kurt Hallberg said.
"She may have accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, but we're not really sure at this time," Hallberg said. "It did take us a little while to get her out of the car."
The Sinclairville resident was transported by first responders to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information was available. No charges were expected to be filed.
