More members of the Chautauqua Striders finished in the top three of their events on the final day of the USA Track & Field Region 2 Junior Olympic Championships at Strider Field to earn a trip to the nationals.
The National Junior Olympics will be held at Irwin Belk Track at North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro, N.C., July 22-28.
The Striders' only first-place finisher on Sunday was McKenna Maycock in the 15-16 Girls Division 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.92.

Right behind her in the second place was Hannah Seiders of the Striders with a time of 1:04.49.
Mackenzie Swartzman of the Striders, competing in the 13-14 Girls Division, had two second-place finishes. She was the runner-up in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.90 and second in the 1,500-meter run with a clocking of 4:47.33.
Caroline Benson was also a double second-place finisher while competing in the 17-18 Women's Division. She was second in the 800 in 2:29.1 and the 1,500 in 5:12.46.
The Chautauqua Striders' 1,600-meter relay in the 15-16 Girls Division also took a second place. The team members were Chloe Knapp, Maycock, Kelsey Powers and Seiders. Their time was 4:16.57.
Just missing out on a trip to the nationals with a fourth-place finish was Orianne Simon of the Striders in the 13-14 Girls Division 100 meters and Sarah Garvin in the 200 meters in the same division.
The Striders' 1,600 relay in the 15-16 Boys Division also finished fourth. The team members were Davis Graham, Austen Johnson, Ben Larson and Henry Tapia.
Dillon Johnson of the Striders was fifth in the 15-16 Boys Division high jump and Larson was sixth in the 110 hurdles in the same division.
