Kathleen Carson Strasser, 71, passed away Thursday (July 11, 2013) at WCA Hospital with her family at her side.
She was born May 23, 1942, in Jamestown, the daughter of William Carson and Inez Carson Cartwright.
Kathleen was a graduate of Southwestern High School class of 1961. She had been employed by Ethan Allen, Dahlstroms, and the Resource Center, before retiring due to ill health.
She is survived by Kurt Strasser of Montana, Klaus Strasser of Jamestown, Christine (Mark) Barnhart of Jamestown; six grandchildren: Mark Evan Barnhart, Kierstin Barnhart, Alicia Burrows, Annette Strasser, Cameron Strasser, Josef Strasser: one sister; Roberta Doud of Ellington; Harold Carson of Jamestown, Pat Carson of Tonawanda, Louise Whit of Sherman, Sheena Carson of Arizona, and Calvin Carson of Virginia; and her ex-husband, Klaus J. Strasser Sr.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, William and Shawn Carson; a sister, Helen Spence and infant sister, Brenda.
Kathleen enjoyed her family, she enjoyed camping, and loved cooking, especially baking fancy cupcakes.
Her funeral will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Falconer Funeral Home. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Rev. Steven Strand of the Peace Wesleyan Church of Falconer will officiate. Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.
