No one was injured following a crash Thursday afternoon in Jamestown.
City firefighters and police were dispatched around 2 p.m. for a report of a rollover accident with entrapment on Marion Street at Foote Avenue. First responders were told the vehicle was on fire; however, the report later proved false.
Witnesses told police the driver of the SUV, Frewsburg resident Shirley Schauers, 77, accelerated quickly out of the True Value parking lot onto Marion Street. Police say she likely hit the gas instead of the brake prior to the crash.

The SUV hit a curb and tree before rolling onto its side, Thomas Shea of the Jamestown Police Department said. Two bystanders, with the help of Shea, pulled Schauers from the vehicle.
Crews from Alstar Ambulance evaluated the Frewsburg resident, who told police she did not remember what happened. She sustained no injuries and was released from care, police said.
No charges were filed.
